I'm a little bit of sad and a little bit of happy.

I just went through and read all of my blogs from the beginning. Summer 2007. It's been almost a year and a half since I started this thing. As an outlet for my creativity. As an updater for all my friends that live here, there and everywhere. And as a record of all the little moments that were captured from my camera and from my head. This last year has been a crazy year of growth, lessons (many lessons), love and hurt.

And now the year is coming to an end. Thank God! I am SO ready for the freshness of 09'.

I think I finished off 08' with complete class.

*Debt-free (sorry I've said it twice now, but I'm so happy).
*A second job (exhausted, but feelin' good).
*A plan (that I'm totally rockin' so far).
*And lots of money in my savings account.

Don't mess with me when I have my mind set on something...... ;)

2009 is going to be the best year of my life so far.

Good news today!!!!!

1. I am officially 100% debt-free!!!!!

and

2. We found out what days we are going to Mexico.......March 8 -13. There is a light.

adventures in shopping....

FOUND: a short, sassy bling skirt (that i would never wear in public) but would rock for a photo shoot in a heart beat.
NEEDED (and found): a sweet pair of pajama pants to get me through housesitting in a GARGANTUOUS, probably cold house in a couple weeks.
LEARNED: that most of the new sunglasses that are out right now are ug-ly. i think i'll stick with my aviators. oh, and even mannequins have butt cracks. who knew??

Dear Every female in the world,

Please never put these on your body. They are in no way, shape or form "cute," "trendy," "cool" or anything but to make fun of. Only put these on if it is part of a Halloween costume next year. But THAT'S IT. People won't be staring at you because they want to know where you got your tights. They will only be wondering why on earth you ever went out in public with those on.

You'll thank me for the blunt honesty one day.
