For those of you that know me you know that I collect rocks from all over the world. So when someone asks what I want them to get me when they go somewhere, I tell them a rock.

Yeh, I'm pretty easy.

I have some really great ones. And one day when I'm back in California I will fit them into my landscaping. Somehow. Anyway, just a cool concept I think.

My latest rock is from St. Martins in Canada (just got it today).

Legend has it the Mi'kmaq believed that a stone with a band of white around it was a sign of good fortune from Mother nature. Today when you find such a stone, make a wish and keep the stone in your possession. Once your wish has come true, pass the stone on to someone else.

10 things I have been slightly obsessed with lately:

1. The amazing way Fall weather makes me feel.
2. Mixing up my workout routine with spin class.
3. Trying to eat mainly organic foods.
4. Being a vegetarian again. Except fish.
5. Completely feeling on top of it, in almost every aspect of my life.
6. My California nest egg that grows larger and larger by the day.
7. Getting a weekend/holiday job.
8. Learning to cook all sorts of yummy non-meat concoctions.
9. My new shampoo and conditioner.
10. Getting the Nikon D300.

I had a thought today as I sat in the bathroom stahl. While doing the usual peek at the shoes in the neighbor stahl I had to take a moment to wonder "who on earth is next to me?" What WAS next to me was the ugliest pair of old lady shoes I've seen in awhile. Hmmmm. I tried to figure out who in our office would wear such a thing. We're all young. Hmmmm.

So, on this 24th day of September, 2008 I do solemnly swear that I will NEVER in my life wear old lady shoes. Do these people not open up magazines and see cute, comfy stylish shoes? I'm guessing no.

Some examples:

(If you own a pair of these, please.....throw them away)!

P.S - I wouldn't mind dressing like this lady when I'm 100. Minus the cigar.

I'm just sayin....

this and that...

hurry up and come.

and then I will be scared. again.

of starting all over. again.

but it feels so natural. like i'm on the right path.

in which i needed a 6 year detour before i went back.

and who knows what will come in the 365 days+ before i jump again.

but it feels so natural.

i can feel it coming together. each little detail. and sometimes i think i am crazy.

for leaving all of this that i've built in the last 5 years.

i just can't help it. i'm supposed to be there. not here.

and who knows what will come. we never do know. we never can predict.

and who knows what will come on this path.

or who.

but i can't wait.

-night.

I probably should be working, but I like to take a break here and there to brush up a bit more on my studies. ;)

I think the glasses add a nice touch.

Don't you??

Wow!

I look like I could get away with just about anything in this photo.

So angelic.

Ha!

One of the many reasons why I am moving back to California.....

To escape this.

They're everywhere down here!!
